Flip and Lily Tocila live on the island of Terschelling in the village of West-Terschelling, close to the oldest lighthouse in the Netherlands, the famous Brandaris.
Both Lily and I have been capturing images through photos and movies for many years. Photographing and filming has begun to record our travels around the world. Lily takes the photos and makes photo books with a travelogue and I film the various trips. The travel documentaries are shown on the island during private film screenings of associations and foundations.
I mainly make travel documentaries and work for the Terschelling Forestry Commission (Staatsbosbeheer) as a volunteer / filmmaker. I have recorded many of the past nature projects such as strengthening our nature and forest management activities for Staatsbosbeheer. I also occasionally supply material for Omrop Fryslân (local tv station) and the NOS (main tv station). I also make images of various subjects on our island.

Lily Tocila, my partner, has her own website (www.reispassie.com) where you can see and read the photos and stories of our travels. Sorry, but the website is only in Dutch. Still, the photos are worth a visit.
