The Christmas walking tour on Terschelling has existed since 2001. The goal is to organize a surprising walking tour on Boxing Day for both guests and islanders. The tour runs through the Forestry Commission area. The annual walking tour on Boxing Day is a party for young and old, followed by a super cozy Christmas walk afterwards. The Christmas walking tour takes about 10 km on specially chosen paths with theater by Compagnie Barrevoet and music by René de Beer.
